Greg has been in the computer industry since the beginning. He is the founder of GECS, LLC. He held his first professional computing position at Raychem Corp. as a Scientific Programmer/Analyst in R&D starting in 1981. He worked closely with the aerospace industry in developing extremely reliable products for aerospace use. He was a primary pioneer developer and integrator of one of the first 5 successful Local Area Networks in the industry in 1982 which ran successfully for 3 1/2 years until the division was relocated..  During his career, Greg had success as  a Senior Customer Support Engineer, Senior Applications Engineer, Senior Technical Support Engineer and Field Service Specialist.

Greg has been a Certified Quality Auditor since 1981 and holds 13 Certificates of Quality Training and Certification from Lockheed Aerospace in Mountain View, California in addition to other quality certifications in which he excelled. Greg started using and programming computers in early 1977.   Greg started his Consulting career and began building computers in 1987
Greg started Greg Evans Computer Solutions in 1988 as a Graphics Designer, Page Layout and Typesetter and System Builder/Integrator. Greg  joined the American Society for Quality Control in 1981. In 1996 Greg began building websites and found it to be an extension of his graphics design and layout work. GECS now focuses primarily on Graphics Design, Layout, Corporate Identity, Logo Design, Web Page Design, Layout, Creation and Management.
