Greg has been in the industry since the beginning. He held his first professional computing position at Raychem Corp. as a Scientific Programmer/Analyst in R&D starting in 1981. He worked closely with the aerospace industry in developing extremely reliable products for aerospace use. He was a primary pioneer developer and integrator of one of the first successful Local Area Networks in the industry in 1982. He started GECS in 1988. GECS still retains its first Colorado customer. Greg joined the American Society for Quality Control in 1981. |

Greg Evans, the founder and Principal of GECS says "Coming to Colorado
was the best move I ever made. Here, people really appreciate an extra effort and a commitment to
quality." Greg has been a Certified Quality Auditor since 1981 and holds 13 Certificates of Quality
Training and Certification from Lockheed Aerospace in Mountain View, California in addition to other
quality certifications in which he excelled. Greg started using and programming computers in early
1977. By 1982, Greg had become a Scientific Programmer Analyst at
Raychem Corporations R&D facilities in Menlo Park, CA. In 1983 as Co-Project Leaders, Mike Planer and
Greg built one of the first 20 Local Area Networks in the nation which ran successfully for 3 1/2
years until the division was relocated. After Several years with Raychem corp., He continued his
career at Advanced Electronics Design in Sunnyvale, CA as the Senior Technical and Customer Support
Engineer and then as the Senior Applications Engineer at Metapath, Inc., a networking company who's
founder developed Statistical Time Division Multiplexing. Greg started his Consulting career and began
building computers in 1987. |

With a resident Quality Assurance Auditor on staff, GECS is able to provide services beyond just
computers, networks and software. GECS will work with you to define your needs, narrow the scope
of your project, and propose a consulting engagement. All proposals are in writing. Consulting
services are available on a project or hourly fee basis.
